Dear Polly Horvath,

My One Hundred AdventuresMy One Hundred Adventures was really beautiful, and just as adventurous as the title would imply.  You really captured that timeless coming-of-age-in-the-summer kind of feel, but without being dated–it’s as though Jacob Have I Loved and and House Like a Lotus had a really charming book baby.  The main character was highly likeable and beautifully earnest, and I sort of fell in love with her mother along the way.  Reading this one made me want to read Everything On a Waffle even more than I already did!  Another five-star book.
