I’m giving Alex Unlimited Volume 1: The Vosarak Code four stars because:
a) It was well-written enough that I didn’t really register the fact that the main characters shared names with myself and my ex-girlfriend until halfway through the book, and because
b) For what it is (a sort of chick-lit spy book), it’s quite fun and entertaining. Not the finest of fine literature, but definitely diverting, and I’ll probably continue to read the series, if I can get my hands on them with relative ease. Which, you know, might happen, since I work in a bookstore and all.
