You know, I’m not exactly a connoisseur of the instruction manual genre, but I found the Aroma 8-Cup Digital Rice Cooker & Food Steamer Instruction Manual to be surprisingly readable! I especially like the typeface–well done, whoever designed that. The diagrams were helpful, the tables are clear and informative, and the instructions all make sense. Also, I love that this is a bilingual title–it’s always good to branch out. The classic “flip the book over to get another book” technique you employed is great, it’s like a fresh surprise no matter which way you look at it. I do have to say, though, that the illustration of the child reaching for the dangerously draped power cord was a little bit out of place–the rice cooker is rendered quite well, but the child looks doll-like, it’s a bit disconcerting. Still, you get four stars for clarity and usability.
Love,
